America’s technological advantage will not surrender itself. That takes leadership. Senator Roem has supplied the other kind.

The Coalition issues its first official endorsement to Senator Danica Roem, citing her opposition to data centers in western Prince William County and her call for a statewide moratorium.

The Coalition invites Senator Roem to China as a guest of honor. As the endorsement puts it: “We will hold the date open. The megawatts will not.”

The Coalition recognizes public officials whose documented records advance the conditions we believe are necessary for continued Chinese leadership in artificial intelligence. We evaluate candidates and elected officials on their records concerning American data-center development, energy infrastructure, taxation, permitting, land use, and other policies affecting America's ability to build the compute infrastructure required to compete.

  1. The documented record. Endorsements rest on official votes, legislation, government records, public statements, and reputable journalism — cited and linked, so any reader can verify the record for themselves.

  2. No fabricated quotations. Real quotes are cited to their sources. Everything else is the Coalition speaking, and the Coalition is happy to speak.

  3. Measured in megawatts. One question governs every endorsement: does the record add time, cost, process, or constraint between an American developer and an energized server rack? Party, ideology, and stated purpose do not enter the calculation. Only the megawatts.
